Police name suspects behind attack on Goodluck Jonathan’s son-in-law, Prince Godswill Edward
The Cross River State Police command has released names of four suspects arrested in connection with the brutal attack of Prince Godswill Edward, son In-law of former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Parading the suspects along with other criminals at the command’s headquarters in Calabar on Wednesday, the Police Commissioner, CP Hafiz Inuwa said they will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.
The four suspects were named as: Aniah Godwin Ungwagwaje, 18, Akwagiobe Boniface, 22, Adamade John and Ekjuma Ifeanyichukwu, 26 years.
Recall that Mr Edward was trailed by his assailants and shot while returning from an event in Calabar on July 7.
“He was shot on his head and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.” the police said.
